2026 European Defence Conferences and Events: Key Ways to Strengthen the West<\/b><\/h3>\n

For engaged citizens who care about the defense of democracies, attending defense events is one of the most meaningful ways to strengthen the collective security of the democratic West. These conferences and forums offer a rare window into the technologies, strategies, and policy debates that shape national security. They provide direct access to military leaders, defense innovators, analysts, and policymakers\u2014people who are normally separated from the public by layers of bureaucracy. By showing up, citizens gain a clearer understanding of the threats facing their countries, the capabilities being developed to counter them, and how they can get involved to make an impact.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet despite the importance of this public engagement, there are remarkably few resources that catalog European defense events in a coherent, accessible way. Information is scattered across dozens of government, NATO, industry, academic, and nonprofit websites\u2014many of which update sporadically or publish dates late in the cycle. This creates a barrier for citizens, volunteers, advocates, and emerging defense-tech founders who want to meaningfully participate but lack a single, trustworthy place to track what\u2019s happening across the continent. The fragmentation is even more striking given Europe\u2019s rapidly evolving security environment and the growing public interest in supporting national and collective defense. This article is intended to serve as a resource for engaged citizens to get more involved in strengthening the defense of their, and all, democracies.<\/span><\/p>\n
